Ascenders Magazine celebrates and showcases the diversity of the creative instinct within humans.
Founded in 2021 the magazine is centred around it’s submissions from a variety of different professional and amateur creatives.

I sent out an open call on the Ascenders Magazine Instagram (@ascenders_magazine) asking for submissions from any and all creatives. I asked for a creative piece of work, a statement about the piece, about the creative including why they create, their occupation and their contact details.
Out of the 40 submissions I selected the creatives to be featured in the magazine and therefore on the Instagram grid. The creatives not selected were then featured on the Instagram stories and saved on the highlights.
